This morning at Darshini gardens itwas alovely sight to see the synchronised swaying of the coconut palms ..in the 'AADI' katru! what a poetic start to the day indeed ; cool breeze though gusty at times set me reminiscing on the other breezy days elsewhere... Hong kong, Singapore...

Back to earth on a poignant reminder- VIJAY DIVAS or KARGIL DIVAS ... a solemn recall of the martyers gone by, ; we at Shenbagam will light a candle each to remember the soldiers who gave their yestrdays ,that we may have today.

Life throws surprises to make us think ; at crossroads the govt is trying hard; wonder whether the effort is worthwhile at all!

Hi,
Am deeply moved by the last book I just finished It is the 'Hungry Tide 'by Amitava Ghosh. What a wonderful description of the Sundarbans & the islands trapped by the Hungry tides making it Tide Country!! Surely one of the best armchair travelogues with a twist of fiction.

It is an hour to lament the utter selfish behaviour of our politicians... the recent debacle at the Bihar Assembly makes one wonder what OUR REPS are really are?? our Reps ? are we so fallen & disgusting a nation then?

Its wonderful to have daily visitors ; solicitous & concerned just cos you have have a stent put in! The big RSK family has been at it sharing & caring with visits, calls, notes & email.
wonderful feeling of 'belonging'.

Everyone knows that Life is fragile...

Just got a whiff of what that can really mean when one is strapped to a guerney with the probe on through the Femoral artery to seat a stent in one of the coronary arteries!

Life is short .. so I aim to make the most of it straightaway..
for a start be a BETTER person in more ways than one....

I shall Be MORE Forgiving, Patient, Accepting, Loving , Kind, Charitable;
I Resolve NOT to Hurt anyone in thought ,word or deed...,

I shall make the effort to enjoy the stuff i really like ...friends, music , chanting , movies , mahjong & just being me!
